 Giving

Centenary United Methodist Church is committed to being a strong, supportive, pillar of our community. Not only offering worship services to our congregants and guests, but also ministries outside of our doors. From our recycling program, to our aid to those in need; from our donations to local charities, to our support of missionaries around the world; we rely on the generosity of all of you so we can continue to do our good works.

We offer several giving options.

E-Giving

You can set up your own regular giving to the different ministries of the church. You can just make a one-time donation here as well. E-Giving can utilize your checking account, or a credit card, if you so prefer. The website will take you through all the steps of giving electronically.

ACH (Automatic Clearing House) Giving

You can set up automatic, regular giving (weekly, monthly, or twice monthly) directly debited from your checking account. Come into the office with a voided check and the office can quickly get your automatic giving set up.

Passing of the Plate

Every Worship service we pass the plate to those in the pews. This still is the tried and true way we accept the generosity of those in our pews. All the gifts given in our plates are presented to the Lord God during service.

Mail-In-Giving

Many people who are out of town and unable to attend church on a regular basis still listen to their generous hearts and support our many ministries. Receiving gifts in the mail is always a welcome addition to our daily stack of letters.

Legacy Giving

Making the church a beneficiary of a gift upon your passing is a wonderful way of touching the lives of others beyond you own lifetime and sharing the love of Christ with future generations.  There are many Legacy Giving options available to you: living trusts, unrestricted bequests, specific percentage bequests, and non-probate transfers, just to name a few.  Please consult your attorney to help make an effective Legacy Plan with Centenary United Methodist Church as the beneficiary.

As always, our Bookkeeper, Debbie, is willing to discuss all these options with you in detail, and can help you out with any questions you might have. Feel free to call her during office hours.
