 Music

Alleluia Choir

Psalm 98:4 says: "Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises." Nowhere is that taken more to heart than in Centenary's Alleluia Choir. Their joyful noise fills our Sanctuary almost every Sunday, lifting our Worship high to the heavens.

Our choir sings a wide variety of music designed to enhance the Worship experience and bring glory to God. From single songs to entire Easter and Christmas cantatas, the choir truly makes our Worship services something to remember.

All ages of singers from High School on up are welcome to join us. Our director will gladly bring you in and make you feel welcome. We'd love to hear your voice raised along with our own.

Handbell Choir

Have you ever heard a 5 octave Handbell choir in action? How about one with three additional octaves of Handchimes? The amazing music they create resonates in our Sanctuary every month as our choir adds their distinctive sound to our Worship Services. Our 12-member choir brings a total of over 100 years of ringing experience to their unique sound, making them a delightful addition to our Worship. And the annual Christmas Handbell Worship, which features an entire service dedicated to the handbells, is truly a wonderful addition to the Holiday Season. We hope you enjoy listening to our group. And if you're interested in trying to pick up a handbell and try out, let Amanda know. She's always on the lookout for new talent.

Praise Band

Worship service is often accompanied by our Praise Band. Vocalists and Instrumentalists help enhance the service with a more contemporary style of music. Drums / percussion and guitar are often heard, but we also have members who play horns, flute, saxophone, and even the accordion. Along with the Praise Band singers, these people play along during hymns and even back up the Alleluia Choir from time to time.

Come check us out during Worship. We know you'll enjoy hearing these dedicated performers.
